This policy explains how we collect, use, share, transfer, retain, and protect personal data for riders, prospective riders, drivers, prospective drivers, and other users of the Gleezip app, website, and support channels.

Categories of personal data

  • Identity and contact data: name, email, mobile number, account credentials, profile image.
  • Verification data: government ID, selfie/liveness result, date of birth, sanctions and fraud-screening outputs.
  • Driver-specific data: driver’s license, vehicle registration, inspection, insurance, tax data, bank details, permit status.
  • Ride and location data: pickup and drop-off, precise GPS, route data, ETA, trip history, driver availability.
  • Device and technical data: IP, browser, device identifiers, app version, cookie identifiers, crash logs.
  • Payment data: tokenized card/payment method details, transaction identifiers, invoices, refunds, tips, chargebacks.
  • Communications and support: in-app messages, masked calls metadata, support tickets, incident reports, feedback.
  • Trust and safety data: ratings, complaints, policy violations, investigation results.
  • Marketing and preferences: notification preferences, campaign attribution, cookie preferences.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process data to create accounts, provide rides, verify users, process payments, prevent fraud, handle incidents, and improve our services. Our legal bases include contract fulfillment, legal obligations, and legitimate interests.

Retention

  • Account data: active account plus 3 years.
  • Trip/order and financial records: 7 years.
  • Raw precise location: 12 months.
  • KYC/driver verification: 5 to 7 years after offboarding.
